- Lisa M.My mom got a message from this number on her cell phone yesterday, and at first I thought it was about a rebate she'd been promised when she purchased her iPhone, but it's a phishing scam. They want you to log in to verizon38.com to get a $38 credit to your phone bill, but when I did that, it looked suspicious, and sure enough it's a scam. Changed my mom's Verizon password to be safe. Do NOT answer and do NOT pursue.

- Don't be fooledThis is a Fake. Folks, when has ANYONE contacted you to GIVE you money? If Verizon or any Cell Phone company were so eager to shell out money than why do they make you jump through hoops for their stupid rebates? No company at any time ever should ask for personal information like passwords and bank account numbers. This SCAM has been kicking around since the slow dial up days of using the phone lines with AOL. It continues because enough people jump at the chance of getting something for free!
- Caller: Verizon41.com
