SCAM !!!!! ...called cell phone... robo person left voicemail saying I had a $43 credit and to log into my account at verizon 46 something or nother .com to claim it...its a scam to gain access to your real account so DO NOT DO IT this has been going around for awhile, they just use different numbers and websites! if you have a credit and/or rebate, it will show up on your bill :)

Got this call this evening at 8:18pm.  Horrible robo voice...  Claimed to be Verizon but ask you to go to a non-verizon website to claim your money.  Scam.

Same as all others, verizon scam. Called my cell and my husband's at the same time.

Received a call from this number tonight. Did not answer it and they did not leave a message. They called at 7:17PM.

Same as other reports - got a call at 7:07 last night on my company cell phone.  Garbled message, said I had a rebate/credit and to call or go to a website. Scam.

I don't generally answer 800 number calls. A completely garbled message was left. Assumed it was a campaign robo and am glad I did not answer.

I received a voicemail last night from 800-922-6973.  It left the message about redeeming a credit on my Verizon account for $48.  I called Verizon this morning as the voicemail did not sound legit AND my online account was hacked last year.  They verified it wasn't them and they would not leave a voicemail if you had a credit on your account.  First I logged into my account to make sure it was ok and then report the number to Verizon.  Just to be on the safe side, I changed my login password to my Verizonwireless.com account.

Got a call at 6:09pm - a very garbled robocall, bordering on unintelligible.  Something about an amount due on my Verizon account.  I've never had a Verizon account.  I called the number back the next day - got a recorded message asking me to enter a contest.
