Sounded like it was from an automated computer calling machine. Told me to log onto www.verizonwireless38.com to redeem my $38 dollars... Calling back it says that "All circuits are busy at this time..." crap.

I received this call it said i had been an active data user and was the winner of $38 rebate from my Verizon bill, it wanted all my info (SSN). I didn't bother to go any further than that. Goggled it, said it was a phishing scam from the Dominican Republic.

I got the call... The quality was so bad, I could barely understand the recording...  Something about a 47 dollar rebate on my bill....

My wife got the same call....  She's with AT&T...
