    It was an automated message. Nothing to be alarmed about! (I thought it was a bill collecter at first!!)

    The call appeared to be from National Grid, saying that they wanted to replace my gas meter.  I waited on hold to arrange for an appointment, but was told (by a person in a foreign call center) that they could not talk to me because it is my husband's name on the billing account.  First time in 30 years that I've heard that from a utility company!  So no appointment was made and this is National Grid's problem.

    This is not National Grid. I called the real National Grid # and they told me it had nothing to do with them.

    I thought this was a scam so I didn't call back but instead called national Grid's customer service number. Turns out it was legit and they wanted to schedule a gas meter change
