Received a message to log into my account for a 41 dollar rebate... From Verizon

I just got called by this number and heard a recorded message telling me that I could get a rebate by logging into Verizon's website. I immediately knew this was some kind of scam because Verizon isn't even my cell phone's carrier.

Scam saying it's verizon and I'm owed $46.

I hope the authorities take them down and they do some time, who know how many people they ripped off by now.

Was $41 for me. Also not a Verizon customer, which made the scam incredibly obvious.

Just got the call hella obvious.

Why can't Verizon, a US internet backbone provider, take down these websites?  If it were Microsoft, Verizon38, Verizon41, Verizon46, etc. would all be taken down by now.  Shame on Verizon for not stepping up to protect their customers!
