got a call, called them back and they answered "Higher Education"

This call was from Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority  ( their default dept.) Of which I have no dealings with, as I am not from Kentucky and never have lived in the Bluegrass state. These people have a very nice web site but if the great state of kentucky is screwing students in that state maybe they should use a better method of collecting than these A__holes. This caller is a legitimate organization that called my number looking to collect a student load debt for "Maureen Green".  I have no idea who Maureen Green is, but she stole my phone number( that I had for 30 years), and gives it out as her own when she scams people out of money.  She has not paid her student loans, and multiple other debts.  I hope someone catches her soon. I have been getting calls from collection agencies looking for her for four years.

Probably not.  I'd go to your bank and change out your account number.  NOW!
