Steve Stone left a message wanting to interest me in their Corporate Rental Program for my timeshare.

They say it will sell. They want money up front with no guarantee that they will sell the property. I asked to pay fee upon sale as with a house. She said must pay up front.  She ended up hanging up on me.

Message on our answering machine today from "Ken Jackson" who asked that we call him at 800-928-7618, Ext. 4305.  He said he represents corporate clients who are interested in renting or buying our Orlando timeshare.  After reading the above post I knew it wasn't worth my time calling him back.  It's a scam to pay up front - they should be like any other realty business and get their commission after the sale is final! The number he said to call is different than the one that showed up on our caller ID.

She left a message on my answering machine to call this number, Candace at X-4308, about my time share in Hawaii.
After reading this page, I will delete the message.

Got a call today from "Paige"; her caller id came up as 321-710-0036. She claimed to represent Vacation Property Marketing (http://www.onlinevpm.com/, 800-928-7618). She wanted $795 upfront to sell my timeshare. I don't trust this type of arrangements, so I am not going to sign up with them.
BTW: they claim that they are a reliable business because they were vetted by the "Online Business Bureau", but who has heard of that company? (see http://www.suite101.com/content/the-online-business-bureau-a158507). I do not trust the OBB or VPM.

I also have talked to Page Thompson. 321-710-0036 and she wanted me to pay $685 and then $685 later when I told her I did not want to spend the money upfront.  I have to call by 8:30 tonight to put my timeshare up for sale.  Of course THEY can sell it for twice what I paid for it.
I also called my mc company and they gave the website of BBB.Richmond.org and after looking them up I am very cautious - They are not accredited plus they have had 2 complaints in the past 12 months and they are closed now.  Whatever that means/
