As it was explained to me by a manager for Crunch Fitness the calls are auto generated.  Short story; ignore it is what he told me.

Longer story; the calls are caused by some problem in their system.  Corporate HQ is trying to resolve the matter.  The designers of the system are apparently at a loss of how to fix the problem.  Meanwhile, I get at least one phone call each day (except Sunday) but more likely is two phone calls from a different 800 number and one call from this 800 number.  That is three calls a day plus I get at least one text 5 days a week.  Try not to be annoyed is the advice gotten from this manager.  

He did say they are bombarded by people annoyed at getting phone calls and text messages.  Was he trying to say they are in the same boat or that I should feel empathy for their plight?  Welcome to the technology age.

So I was receiving calls from this number too and finally I called it back, and basically it was so that I could pay Crunch gym their annual fee for "gym upkeep." Still annoying though that they kept calling and the individual was very rude when I asked her to explain what exactly the additional fee was for.

Says it is Crunch calling re past due balance and wanted CC info but when I called my club they had no record of a past due balance. Bottom line: scammer phishing for CC info.

Yes they are very rude I'm gOing through a law suite with them over chArging my credit card

Recieving4-6 calls from this number daily.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  The only reason why I picked up once before was because I thought it was someone else calling.  Otherwise I never answer numbers I don't know.  The membership I had at Crunch was a gift & not under my CC info - I wrote a letter & mailed it to the gym to cancel my membership and now I am getting these phone calls.  I already spoke with someone & told them that I have cancelled, billing info is not under my name & it's not my CC.  They said they'd put notes in the account.  But, I am still getting these calls daily.  It's becoming a nuisance.

Called but didn't leave a message. I do have a Crunch membership though and recently replaced the card that is on file for my membership. They also emailed me a notification that I can take care of this online.

I get these calls daily as well. Blocked the number from calling me but still receive voicemails only stating my name. Really annoying. I haven't been a member there for almost 6 months and paid my membership off in full.

For a week now, I keep getting daily calls from this number.  They do not leave a message.  Very annoying.  I am not a member of any gym.

I get calls from this number everyday and have also gotten voicemails. When I pick up, it’s just complete silence on the other end and the same is with voicemails. I blocked the number since it is annoying to get these calls, but somehow the number still gets through. I’ve already paid my membership fee so I don’t know why I’m being called by Crunch

No answer/no message.  If it is crunch fitness, i don't have a membership and i don't want robocalled.
