Received a call from a blocked number from "James Thomas" at "Quicken Loans" asking for "Brian" and calling about "purchase information", wanting a callback at 800-931-5199. Left that message and called twice more after that.

Same thing happened here and sometimes they call with another number 8449862165

You provided them with your SS number and then decided that maybe you ought to check them out?

I called back and I gave a false name. They said he could not find me on the file and hang up.

I'm not sure what you think that you accomplished by doing that.

They asked for my social and then it could be false.

Called at 7:37 PM, didn't answer, Caller ID listed Rocket Mortgage. Figured it was bogus as I hadn't applied for anything with anyone.  The vm said "Hi this is Tasha with Rocket Mortgage regarding your home finances, call us at 800-931-5199, thanks and have a good" she hung up before saying what the good was.

Just got a call today, "Hi, this is <unknown name> reaching out with Rocket Mortgate formerly Quicken Loans.  We did receive your purchase inquiry, and everything looks great.  you can just give us a call back. Our new number here is 800 931 5199".
I havent made any loan requests so i'm going to just assume this is scam after seeing some other fishy calls for others here.

Got the same message today. Hopefully, we can slam them with a class action when it pops up and collect for nuisance and emotional distress!  We are on the national No Call list. These people are relentless! I have blocked everyone if their calls and they still call daily under new numbers and different agents.

Various messages they have left:  "Looks like we missed an opportunity", " Getting back to uou", "Looks like we missed your call", " calling to let you know your information looks good for your loan. Call us back"...etc.

Well why don't you run right out there and get that "class action" started?  Then you can wait around for years and years (usually 5 to 10 years) until a settlement is hammered out.  Then you should get your huge settlement amount of between $5 to $25.00.  It should all be worth it though because the lawyers will get millions.  Now, on the other hand, you could easily sue them yourself and get at least $500 per phone call.  Which do you think is a better solution?

They call everyday!! I blocked the number but is still goes to VM....O dealt with the real Rocket Mortgage/Quicken loans last June and ended up firing them so there is no way I've recently ask for info!!

I have received 14 of these messages, asking for various people, and requesting me to call them back, in 3 days!
I got more, over a 5 day period,  but  I deleted them.
SOOO ANNOYING!   It's SPAM AND HARRASSMENT!
I have blocked there number,  but they just keep leaving the stupid message, for me to call  back.

My caller I'd says they called from
888-263-7404.  But the number the leave for me to call back is   800-931-5199.

To clarify ~
They have called me 14 times,  over a 3 day period.

call identifies as direct mortgage but they give you this number to call back . I said not interested two calls from direct mortgage today .
So be aware they are using different names and numbers .
