Rcd several calls from this number.  (Caller-ID)

I was finally home = answered; person who answered said she was taking survey from Di-Tech customers.  (I am one.)  "Tele-surveyor" was not very good; could not read from her "script".  Mentioned possibility that I could win more than  $1 million dollars if I answered some questions.  I told her I was not interested.  She hung up.  

Guess I can't do much to keep these calls from coming because I have done business with Di-Tech before....

Calls and then hangs up.  Very annoying.

Calls every night and when I answer, they hang up.  If I don't answer and let it go to voicemail, they hang up...dunno what they want !!!

We have a heating business and receive calls multiple times each week from this number.  We pick up to be greeted by a hang up.

I have an insurance agency and I have received at minimal four dozen calls from 800 Service over the past few months...usually with dead silence or a quick hang-up as soon as I say hello.  Last week and today, I have actually had someone on the other end of the call.  Last week it was pitch that I was pre-appoved for a Discovery Card (which I advised I was not interested in and I explained that my phone number is on the DO NOT CALL list).  Today it was a call that I was pre-approved for a Bank of America credit card.  I just hung-up.  I suspect these calls are a telemarketing scam.  DO NOT give them any of your personal financial information.  In fact, don't give them any of your time!  They are beyond annpying!

Have been recieving numerous calls from them. Sometimes 2-3 a day. Also on the DO NOT CALL list. I have also been getting hang ups or nothing from them.

Called and asked for my dad, but sounded very hesitant and unprofessional (we're an at home business, I guess maybe she was thrown by that?) - identified herself as calling from Bank of America RE "business opportunity" - I said no thanks, and that's that. But she sounded so completely amateur, I got a little suspicious, and here I am!

lady called and asked for my boss by name; he was on another line so I asked who was calling; she said her name was Amy Gray with Bank of America; I put her on hold to wait for my boss to get off the other line; she hung up a short time later

Thanx for the many reports on the 1-800-931-6384 hang-up bandit! Let's hope the fraud-unit catches up with them and nips'm in the butt.

they hang up. everyone at our business is very annoyed at these calls when trying to deal with customers. do not owe anything so do not know why we receive calls from this number. not interested in any new services either.

Thanks for the posts and info.  Got my first call from that number today - 12 second voice message of dead air.  I have a VOIP phone that I use mostly for a home business, but no other business (except perhaps Bank of America) knows that it's my number.

Same as Brad, use VOIP for my business at home. Bank of America is my bank. The message was 32 secs of dead air.

Called 5 days in a row, all abandoned calls.
Finally today they announce who they were so I ask for the supervisor to inform them of the rule on abandoned calls. If you want these people to stop you need to report them.

I'm getting the same annoying calls with no voice message left.
Today, 4-16-08, I had a quick recall under "unknown", seemed strange.

What a pain.

This number calls our office constantly and always hangs up when we answer.  ESAD, nuisance pig-f'ers!!
