Got a call from them on my cell .. at 8:30 am on a Saturday! Did not answer but want it to stop. Will be filing a conplaint with the do not call registry .. which the phone is listed on.

I get calls sometimes multiple times daily from them in the office I work for for the same person every day, and it seems to be a different person each time. I began not answering their calls.

They keep calling my cell phone number. I don't know how they got my cell phone number. They never leave a message so when I call it back I don't leave one for them but as soon as I hang up after calling my phone rings again from the same number. They need to stop calling because I am not going to answer.

Yep. These morons have also been calling me on a daily (and sometimes twice daily) basis for two weeks, now from these other numbers: Guess I'll add this -888 number to my growing list of blocked numbers from these "Buffaloes". This is just another sad commentary on the state of our government doing NOTHING about the growing abuse of innocent people by debt collectors in this country. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act states if they are notified in writing they should stop the calls. If not this is a violation of the FDCPA. Good Luck!

This is a nonmarketing call, but concerning a very important matter. British accent.

Who does this number belong to? I haved called it and get a recorded message saying no one is available to take my call.....Etc.

Wait for about 50 seconds then you'll hear something like this is a message for.. (didn't say any names)

its very private and if you keep caling you can go to the caller id check and check messages phone place and they got profe how many people that been calling and my adress is 111261 ave knock and say im going to get you 200 dollors then bring them to your adress. ok

This same number left me a message, if you can call it that. You can hear lots of people in the background like its a call center talking about a "program" and then a man just breathes and hangs up. Its not a sigh, its not normal breathing .. it was kinda creepy and that's why I searched for it online.

Collection company claiming that a utilities company is filing a lawsuit against me for a measly $90!! Yeah right! Besides, that bill was resolved. Told them not to call me and that I would handle directly through the utility company.

The Dove Foundation have been calling me for months. Yesterday when I answered there was actually someone there and she asked "May I speak to the lady of the house?" I told her there is no Lady living here and she said thanks, goodbye and hung up. Today they called again and hung up after I said "hello." Next time I'm diguising my voice as a woman's and answering.

I received a call from this number and let it go to voicemail. Upon checking my voicemail, the message contained nothing but the sound of typing for almost a minute. After determining this was a debt collector (Asset Acceptance Corp.), it makes me wonder if they were documenting a non-existent conversation in order to say I ratified an old debt. Given that this is a bottom barrel debt collector that uses questionable means, this is a possibility.

I got a charge on my bank card for $9.95 called World Trade from Costa Mesa, CA.  The phone number listed was 800-931-8580.  I filed a claim and my bank has credited back the funds.

I got a very disturbing threathening voice mail from this number from a male with a thick foreign accent. Saying his name is MAX! And it is imperitive I call him by today or there will be conciquences. Didnt say why or anything. He leaves the same message everyday and its been getting more threatening.

IS this number the same as these people: Direct Connection?

This shows up on bank statements for debit card debits as: World Trade 8009318580 CA     They took money from someones account and then mysteriously 2 days later put it back--crazy that never happens!  The customer didn't know anything about it!

I have been getting calls from them too. I never answer if I don't know the number though. They never leave messages.

They keep calling and the calls are increasing in frequency. has anyone been able to stop this? if you call and tell them they have the wrong number, do they stop???
