Called and left no message

they called my work for the president of the company (asked for by name) and said they were from Adnvance Pro (i THINK thats what he said) and was looking to invite my boss to something. reluctant to give me anything and only begrudgingly gave me his name and reason for calling when i alluded to the fact that he was getting nowhere fast unless he coughed up some info of his own.

Called and left a couple of messages with background noises, nothing of substance. And when I called them back, they said they were an answering service for a cleaning company, credit card company, and 2 other companies.

This is a group called NCO Financial... The same one that's received so many fines for harassing people.  They're harassing me for an identity theft that occurred on my name years ago.  I ignore them completely now.  They won't leave a message, they just call nonstop

Recieved call 4:29p on 8/21/09. I called them, two womwn laughing in the back ground. They answered and said the were a cleaning conpany and taling calls for a collection agency.Fore the record, here's their web site: http://investing.businessweek.com/research/st ... ivcapId=4326126

I got a call and the caller said she calls from a company named 'CALL BOX' and they offer internet marketing.  I declined.

A few minutes later I got another call, they hung up when I answered and the same again a few seconds later.

So I called them back and the lady that answered stated that this was an 'Answering Service' number for several other companies yet she refused to give me her name or the name of the answering service company she actually works for.
There appear to be several different (scammer) businesses that use that same 'call back answer center' and hence the same number yet several different companies mentioned in the response already.

My suggestion, report them to the FCC with at number 800-931-9656 so they can eventually shut down either the individual businesses that make the calls or go after the call center that allows those calls to be made under their number.

Called several times within the past couple weeks on my boss's line. I always say she's in a meeting & would they like her VM. They just say they'll call again. So basically we'll always play this game until they give up.

They left a grabled two word voicemail which was unrecognizable. I called them back and the woman who answered hung up on me when I asked what company I was calling. I immediately called back and received that same woman. She stated that she was an answering service and could not tell me what company had called me. She took my number to see if she could check. Once I gave her my number she said she had no record of them calling me. I explained they had called, it was on my caller ID and I would appreciate talking with the person or company trying to contact me. She refused to give me any information. I then asked her to take me OFF of their calling list, I was on the do not call list and I would be filing a complaint. She hung up.

They keep calling and not leaving messages

GIRL NAMED JONA IF THATS HER NAME? COMPLETE JOKE! CLAIM THAT CEO CALLED? CALLED HER OF THEM BAK SERVERL TIMES FAKE VOICE FAKE GIRL ANSWERIN.....GIVE THEM THEIR OWN MEDICINE!

Male caller asked for one of our VP's by their first name and I said I need a last name, didn't know if it was a collection firm or whatever, he pronounced the last name incorrectly so I asked him who he was and who he was with and he said Jason and Call Box but I didn't understand what the company name was, it sounded like CallVox.  I dumped it into VM, then Googled it.
