Received a call from 800-932-0717 today. In a strong foreign accent the caller identified himself as being from VERIZON and that I had an outstanding amount due of $27 and how do I want to pay. I told him very directly to Drop Dead and added a couple other descriptive adjectives and hung up.

Scam

I answered this call "Hello" and a computer voice says "Goodbye". Real nice.

hehe they wised up and told me I was overcharged,,, but wanted my PIN to verify my account

They said I was overdrawn on my Verizon account by $25 I told him I don't think so and hung up

Complete Scam artist. Said he was from Verizon calling about an overcharge. Unable to provide my account number or even my name. I called him a liar and a thief and said he ought to be ashamed trying to scam innocent people. He quickly hung up.

just got a call from this number, a man with a very strong accent called and said that I had a credit of 8$ and how did I want sent to me, a credit or whatever? I said that this verizon account isn't even in my name so how did they get my number so it must not be anything good (at least for me) he said sorry and hung up???

Just received this call from the strong accent dude and also telling me about a credit and how did I want it sent to me.  Without hesitation I hung up on him and quickly blocked the number, too.

Just received a phone call from a big JERK. Didn't  answer . I will be contacting the local Sheriff's  office on this. I would like to see this person calling Hong but the neck.

says he is with Verizon and I have shorted paying them last month and I owed $27...bs

Same thing.. but they owed me $39 back.  Woohoo!  How do I want it? credit it to next months bill.. and then he needed the name to confirm the account and poof I said 'you're a scammer and a liar' and hung up.   It was fun
