- silverknightText message from "90909@tmomail.net": Message from WSCU - Account restricted. Call at (800) 932-2209 for details (800-932-2209) Looks like a scam - found other postings: Google "WSCU account restricted" for other postings. They appear to want your credit card for identity theft purposes.
- jvn777Have received multiple text messages from this number 800-932-2209. Someone is attempting identity theft asking for credit card numbers.
- GromitI received this:
" 0000@tmomail.net // FOOTHILLS account blocked .call at (800)932-2209 for verification " - GromitHere is another one:
"70002@tmomail.net // New Message: C.U. account Issues. Call urgent at (800)9320209" - Pooky HerrmannI have been receiving text messages from an unidentified origin for the past two months; the sender lists this number (1-800-932-2209) as the only contact information. I receive test messages, always two at a time and slightly varied, saying that my account has been restricted, my pin has been blocked or that I urgently need to update my credit card information. "CU" or "Foothills" are always referenced, which likely indicates that it's a local spam artist with local phone listings (CU being the University of Colorado in Boulder, and Foothills being both an area of Boulder and a busy highway).
- GromitSince I received similar message again, I decided to contact T-mobile. Because T-mobile not longer offer service e-mail for customer to send, I have to use the online chat to contact the T-mobile (I waited for 1 hr). They suggest me to reply "stop" to the messages. However, when I replied, the message are rejected or cannot be delivered.
During the "chat," I suggest T-mobile to block these SPAM senders. They reply: "We do not block individual messages."
I cannot feel any slight feeling that they want to solve the problem. Do anyone knows how to solve this problem...? This is really annoying... - ATT MobileI got a message on my Iphone as
