Looks like a fake BofA text. Confirmed. Fake.

Repeatedly called regarding B of A account info. Scammers!

They called my CELL PHONE, a number I do not give out.  It was Bank of America.  The message left was obviously a recording.  Not word-for-word but gist was ' since we were unable to reach you, you will have to call 800-932-6262 for a new authorization code.'  CLEARLY A SCAM!   I have never, ever had a BofA account, credit card or otherwise.  They have also called our landline and left the same message.  BLOCKED.  I'm not susicious of a scam.......I KNOW it was a scam.  [***].

Caller ID had ext 20023. Couldn't find out who it was.

These people called me  & said they were from BOA fraud dept. and someone was using my debit card to try to purchase a large item, needed me to confirm my identity, I hung up and called the number back but when I heard the BOA recording I thought it was legit, they called me back again, I answered and like an idiot because I've never been scammed before they got me!!! Don't believe anybody!! I don't know how they did it but they were even sending me verification codes that were coming from BOFA exactly like the ones I get when they are confirming who you are.

Why would you call the number back instead of calling the number on your card? If you gave them your card number, call the REAL BofA immediately & have it cancelled.

Report a phone call from Bank of American advising me of someone trying to use my credit card to make 2 large purchases out of state. Tried to get credit card information. Scam/fraud call.
