They called caliming to be QWest and were asking to verify company name, owner, & number.
When I questioned the caller about the above report from "b drizzle" the guy hung up.

Guy name Rick Townsend, claiming to be with Cincinnati Bell, non billing department, asking me to verify business name, phone # and then asked my name. When I questioned, he told me my listing would be removed from phone book with a $300 reinstatement fee and that it was a federal crime to not give callers my name. These guys are bottom feeders.

I was checking my facebook page and somehow this number was listed under my phone number..

This takes me back to 1980s I am not shure now 1 800 we are 18

Got a call from a woman claming to be from "Canon Warehouse" regarding our photocopy machine.  She said she needed to update our office information in order to send us a safety manual for our copy machine.  I was quite short with her and told her that we continually get calls from solicitors claiming to be calling about our photocopy machine.  I told her it was deceitful and to please take me office their calling list.  Then I hung up.  She must have been really angry because she had the nerve to call me back to say that I need to call 1-800-932-7318 and tell them I refused her call.  She also said if I have a problem with my copy machine it's all on me and I will have to deal with it alone.  I then called the company we lease our machine through and he told me it was all a scam.  These people sell company information to other solicitors.
