Called to inform me he was from my bank's fraud department and someone in another state had transferred money from my account to theirs. He asked if anyone I knew was traveling which I did know someone in family that is on trip , than he proceeded to tell me the person who transferred money was from chicago and he gave me the name and asked if I was familiar with the name which I wasn't. After telling me all of this he told me that my online checking account would be closed from 3-5 days and than fraud division would write to let me know how the case was going at that time. They had my address which I did not give them and I responded after listening to all this, which sounded very professions, that I would go to my bank and talk to them about all this. He than proceeded to tell me that he could give me his I.D. number and that he was calling from the number on the back of my debt card and I was to give this info to the banking people. It was when I asked for his I.D. number he hung up. I than proceeded to bank and found out that none of this was from them.
