Dispute the charge with your bank, close your account and open a new one.

Please dont give false information. If someone has dealt with a company, trial or didnt read full terms and conditions..etc, your bank cannot just dispute any charges. You can block/close the card.
Best way to find out what the charges are for is to contact the company themselves (dont yell at the agent), and ask for all the info.
Best thing to do is to also cancel in writting with them so you have proof of
    cancelation. :)

They've got me too for $1.95 plus 2 months @$16.95.  They're connected with a company called Savings StoreOnline  which also has me billed for the same amounts.   I've now cancelled the latter ( I hope) but can't find anywhere to cancel the holiday one.
Not sure where they got my name.  .not by phone. Must be by mail or possibly with something from Pure Life which is owned by the same group.

Holiday Savings Online (800) 940-3134 and Savings Store (800) 940-4021 are connected.  If you call them, they will gladly cancel your account.  They were, surprisingly, very kind and helpful when I wanted to cancel.  I didn't remember getting the 'Welcome' package nor the paperwork, but it might have been one of the many pieces of mail I thought was junk, so I probably chucked it before I read it - bad on me.  Really nice folk on the phone - such a wonderful change.

All you have to do is call them and be really nice. You don't have to give a reason to cancel. They may ask if you have traveled in the last year and they will give you UP to 500.00 cash back. Just another way to scam you! I've learned a very important lesson, pay attention to online purchasing!!!!! And read the fine print! Mine is cancelled.

This org. is a complete scam. They operate by way of negative acceptance, meaning they tie into an online order and suggest that you have by way of purchase completed an application for the membership to "Savings Store" or "Holiday Savings " and will be charged a nominal fee, and could be charged on a monthly basis. This fee kicks in at some point down the road and unless you look at your credit card statement on an ongoing basis, you might miss their monthly fee. They do however include the disclaimer that you may cancel your membership at any time by calling their 1 866, or 1 800, number. This is known as negative acceptance and it is an unlawful practice.  1. Cancel your credit card. 2. Have a new account established. 3. Discuss the matter with the dispute branch of the credit institution and have the charges reversed for the last 100 days. 4.Call the scam outfits' 1 800 number, get the name of the representative and inform he/she that you will be cancelling your membership. It may or may not be important to get a cancellation number, but ask for it and record it so that your credit institution may have more clout by which to dispute your claim. I took the step to cancel immediately after making my order online but I did not record a cancellation number and as well did not fine tooth my monthly statements until this month when it appeared, being the only purchase made on the card for the month. I have no leg to stand on for recouping 9 months worth of billing but I am going to get the last 3 months worth back. I would love to spear-head a class action suit against this organization. They are fraudulent in every respect of their operation.
