Now that they are calling twice a day, I called their # and as stated above, talked with a "nice lady".  She did ask for my name and number but not my address. She apologized for the inconvenience and said my number would be placed on their "do not call list"  We'll see!

I get hang-up calls from this number and from an 866-771-2688. I tell telemarketers not to call my number, and it seems like that may prompt these hang-up calls. Do not call the number. I heard somehow they can use your call to charge your phone for another call. Contact your local phone company and log a complaint for prank calls. If enough of us do this, they will have to do something.

I received a call from 1-800-942-1970 on July 28th. I call the number back today. A woman answered and stated it was the Presidential Coalition. I told I had received the and that I wanted my number removed from their calling list. She asked for my name and telephone number and stated she would have my name and numbered added to their "No Call" list. And thanked me for the call. Now, let's see if it works. I have my doubts.

This is ridiculous.  I receive 2-4 calls per day from this number.  I've asked them to put me on do not call list.....now I just don't bother to answer.  But they keep calling.

You are part of the problem.  We still have the right to freedom of speech until this corrupt administration takes it away from us.

This number is ringing our phone before 9am.  My spouse just had surgery for cancer and we dont need any &&^%$( calls from these idiots.

I received this call this morning but no one responded to my hello.  I called the number and it was from the Conservative Republican Coalition.  I definitely support conservatism belief but cannot support them with a donation as I've been laid off from employment.  They say companies don't discriminate against age, but that is far from the truth.  I have been asked my age, been asked for my date of birth and my social security number at the very beginning of the interviews.  Something really needs to be done regarding age discrimination.  90% of the people standing in the unemployment line appear to be 50+ years of age.

What you do is harass the [***] out of them by calling them and not answering them.  They will finally get the message and quit calling.  I had to do this to another annoying s.o.b. and they quit calling.

I hate to tell you but there is a huge list of entities which are EXEMPT from the " national do not call list". They include but may not be limited to:   charitable organizations, banks, churches or other religious organizations, political parties, and every (an all) organizations with which you have EVER done business in the past.

I do not answer any call from a number I do not recognize (not ever), although I often come here to see what others have discovered.  I could "block numbers" with a program that my phone company offers but there are only 15 numbers I can block without additional charges and these creeps who call often have multiple numbers.

I am sure that after the election the bulk of your mystery numbers will disappear and some semblance of peace and quiet will be restored.  There is also a move afoot to stop ALL robo-calls, which would be the most welcome news we could all get.............if it actually HAPPENS!
