Called at 8:40pm.  Answered on third ring.  No response on other end.  Tried to call the number back but it does not ring.  There must be some agency that can put a stop to this, and regulation is not my usual solution.40

1st
Fraud or harassment calls need to be reported to the local law enforcement agency immediately. Law enforcement needs details about the calls you received so they can investigate further.

2nd
Contact the Federal Trade Commission at www.FTC.gov and file a complaint online about the phone#, call, and give them details about the calls you received.

3rd
Contact your FBI Regional Office (look in the phone book or FBI.gov) and request an investigation into these calls.

4th
Place phone #'s on the National DO NOT CALL List at WWW.DONOTCALL.GOV (you can also file a complaint here) or call them directly at 1-888-382-1222.

Repeated calls over several weeks at varying hours.  Always disconnects in a couple of seconds when phone is answered.

this phone is  1  800  945 1732   is being  used  by the   NRA  MISSOURI TO promote the election of  vickie  Hartsley as of 8-2-10. they  have called all week while I was napping but  I  picked  it up quick  to  get the  pre recorded  message.

800-945-1732 called 8/9/2010, 8:07 PM, Central Time.  I screen my calls, did not answer, and they didn't leave a message.  Noted above in the complaints that this number is owned by TCast Communications, California.

They ask for a person by name ?? Interesting as I do not know or do I want to these A--Holes!!!
I don't care who this number is owned by but you should block it and report it DNC LIST!!!!

Got a call from this number at noon today (October 8th) from the campaign office for David Dewhurst - the Republican that is running for re-election as Texas Lt. Governor.  I told them to put me on their Do Not Call list and if they called back, I would vote for his opponent (that usually keeps them from calling back).

This is most likely coming from a national call center for all Republican candidates nationwide.

If any Senatorial or Congressional candidate is smart, they will sponsor an amendment to the Do Not Call registry that also includes poltiical campaigns!  (Don't hold your breath on that ever happening.)
