I have a system set up so that I only can receive calls from numbers that I have whitelisted.  I get one ring, the caller ID come thru and my system hangs up on them.  I just wish our useless senators and congress persons would take action to stop these annoying calls.

If ever there was a reason to block calls by CID this "800 Service" would be tops on my list. To bad you can't block that way.  I allow all free 800 numbers to ring unless they have been tagged by my provider as "spam". This one was not tagged so it rang thru. I just didn't pick up. Ya know sometimes you'd rather not fight with a low life scammer. Tomorrow, I may feel like a fight.
