Toll Free Caller says the call ID. If this is a legit biz, be it survey or whatever, They need their name on the ID. Without,
it just makes me believe another scammer. No message, & they call twice a day for 2 so far. Find another pigeon, whoever you are!!

Received a call from a nice gentleman, from 800-945-5819 (MDC Research). The ID said Toll Free Caller, so
I'm not sure why I even answered!! This is a legit company that gets consumers for their clients to either test
products or have an interview (face to face) about them. If you are registered with product testing companies
chances are you might be with MDC or your name is on a legit list that you might be interested in participating...
plus you get gift cards or $$ as a thank you for participating!

I am n the do not all register and have been for several years. At 3:37 pm on 6/272015 (saturday) my home landline phone rang  the female caller stated "don't hang up" and then started to continue with some type of research program that lasts several months.  Even "if" this was a legitimate call; it's also  a very direct violation of the do not call register. The caller id showed the call as "toll free call."  i'm very skeptical of any and   all "toll free calls."  many are scams of some type  in one way or another. I'll be filing a formal complaint next; for whatever good that may do.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards.  Some states have different laws in regards to the calls,  which can differ from the federal.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

"toll free caller" keeps calling. Scammers or IF they were charities then shame on the charity I supported for giving my
    # out. They will lose when I don't contribute again. And IF these calls a fakes using a charity, shame on them too.
If someone would invent something to blast these callers deaf, they'd make millions lol !!!

Caller ID showed toll free number. Asked For my wife by her first name. Caller said her name was merriam. I asked what company she represented or what the call was about. Told me she can only talk to my wife. She said she would call back when she was home. I told her not to call back. but I think she hung up.
