scam artist robo call about my credit card wanting me to dial 1 to speak to a representative about zero percent interest rate

Just called, I answered and said hello 3 times then they hung up. Weird.

No one on the line.

I said “Hello” several times over & some foreign speaking man asked if I could hear him.... I proceeded to say hello several more times to be told I’m the piece of [***]!! Yeah that’s right... I’m the piece of [***] hahaha hilarious since he’s the scammer.... 1 word.... BLOCKED!!!

I posted above... the word asterisked out begins w/ an “s” & ends w/ a “t” if ya can’t figure it out lol

Called cell phone. CID Unknown. No message. We NEVER answer any unsolicited call. Just another CRIMINAL violating the DNC and trying to perpetrate a SCAM!

If they didn't leave a message,  how do you know the caller was a telemarketer? Because the DNC list only applies to telemarketers. Anyone else calling isn't violating it.

Have received 5 calls from this # within our first hour of business today.  Same story others have told-robo call offering 0% APR, press 1, you get connected to a man who asks your name, etc.  I told him he had our # in error, as we didn't have a VISA for our business and he asked in a smarmy voice "where do you work?"  I asked to please remove us...I've gotten 3 calls since then.

Credit card scammers.

robo call about credit card awards-I blocked them,but I am sure I will get another call.I usually don't answer any number that is no on my contact list but I was curious.They also leave msgs on my landlint-wish something could be done about these calls

Just got a call from 800-945-7070, not a number I recognized, rejected call. Caller did not leave a voice mail, so they will be blocked.

They are NOT telemarketers. They are TELESCAMMERS! These callers DO NOT represent a legitimate company. I know because of the previous posts, thank you to all who post on 800 notes, this is a SCAM by a CRIMINAL whose only purpose is to profit from their call and cause financial harm. A person calling to steal from you, i.e. credit Card numbers, money, information, is a CRIMINAL. This call is violating the DNC because someone IS pretending to be a telemarketer, but CRIMINALS don't care.

Again - if they didn't leave a message, how do you know they were pretending to be a telemarketer? Other posters say they're allegedly calling to lower your your credit card interest rate.

They are calling to lower our or your credit card rate. They have no prior business relationship with us or you. That is a telemarketer.
