Called and did not leave a message.  I don't know this number.

Has called my cell phone 3 times in last 2 days.  No one on phone (autodialer? .. I don't wait).  No idea who it is, but am getting a bit pissed at them burning my cell minutes.

Progressive calling to "verify" my account.

I got a letter in the mail with a "Progressive" company letter head saying my insurance bill was late (which we just paid in full) and that they were about to cancel my insurance. They left me this # 1-800-955-7764, the letter instructed me to call the 1-800 # & resolve this with them, so I did. They said they are my insurance company (Progressive) and that I haven't finished clarifying my information with them & that i needed to.  They also claim that in a lucky caller and I get to recieve a $100 gift card to any major retailer of my choice.  However in order to claim the gift card I have to pay a $5 shipping and handling. It all sounded fishy to me so ai hung up.
