    Three times annoyed
I have received Three calls in four days from someone calling themselves shase bank offering a Credit Card. The name of the caller was given to be Nashur Ayunnan.

The caller originally asked for my wife. Then claimed the offer was for me as well, since I authorized purchases for my home.

The offer was for 0% for 12 billing cycles, including 'no fee' balance transfer options. The caller claimed I had a $99,999.99 credit limit and all I needed for balance transfers was to give my other credit card numbers with balances.

Part of the offfer was 3% back on all purchases.

Way too good to be true.

I asked for a number to call so I could originate the call. I was given 1800 955 9296, and I was told to ask about the Professional Premium offer

I have never had a chase credit card, but someone with an Indian accent called me stating that they had a question about a chase credit card listed in my name.  I inquired further about this wanting to know who had opened a card in my name

The caller stated they were from Chase Bank and did not leave a message concerning the call.  I called it back and the auto system asked for my credit card number.  The system did not indicate it was for chase bank.  I called chase and they said they have no record of that number or the individual Brian Smith who left me a message.  Probably fraud related.

Caller with an Indian accent, Josephine Morgan, claimed to be from Chase and that allI needed to do was give my card number and I will be enrolled in triple points instead of single, as well as several points up front for making the change. When I asked her how I know if this is for real, she gave her name and number. I then asked another question and she abruptly hung up.  I think this is a fake!

I got a call from a man with an Arabic accent saying he was with Chase Bank calling to offer me a Chase Contential Airlines credit card.  He used my maiden name to refernce and wanted me to fill out an application on the phone with him.  His call showed up as unknown caller.  When I asked for a number I could call back I was given 800-955-9296 after he offered for me to speak to his floor suprviser.  If you call that number it never says Chase Bank and gives you another number to call for applications, I wouldn't give these people information....I think they are scams!

Caller called my home phone stating they were from Chase Bank and asked to speak me. They stated that I was being offered a Chase credit card at 0% interest for 12 months and free balance transfers. Before they could process the order they said they needed to "verify" my annual income, birth date and mothers maiden name. To protect my card, they said I needed to give them a password. They made sure that they had this password correctly written down. Finally she read a script about how the fees charges, interest rates could change and the information could be shared with other people. Hmm, interesting. They said it was Chase bank calling but this was not Chase. It was a scam to get id info.

I also got a call from a guy with an European accent (broken English) offering a business credit card with United (16k Bonus miles etc.) and started asking me questions about SSN, DOB etc. So, I got suspicious and asked him for a phone number and his ID Badge and cancelled the application. After I hung up, I called Chase (Customer Service Number) and asked if someone tried to reach me with an offer. The rep confirmed that someone indeed called and also clarified the number 800 955 9296 was a chase number. After that, he transferred me over to another rep to complete the application.

I think this is a problem of outsourcing where reps calling cannot communicate well, making us suspicious about the veracity of the call.

    All in all, Happy Ending!

I believe that this is a phone number for a company called Sitel, which performs telemarketing services for Chase credit cards.  The company has a website that describes its operation.  The call centers are in Asia, I believe.

Someone called saying they were from Chase Bank and that I opened a credit card.  I did not and everything from that conversation was weird.  They asked for my personal information and I do not believe it was Chase Bank but a scam.
