Got a message on my cell phone saying that I had a $46 credit on Verizon and to log onto their website to redeem it (the first part of the message got cut off, but I think it was verizon46.com.   Looking through scams reported today, it appears that a number of calls are coming through with 800 numbers ending in 9455 (like 800-xxx-9455)... most received today or yesterday.  Clearly a scam!

Do not ever go to any kind verizonxxx.com website were xx(x) is some number that is supposed to be a rebate amount. It looks like a legit Verizon site but is designed to capture your account login ID and password.  The scammers will then login in to your real account, change the password, add their own devices and run up thousands in fraudulent charges before you find out and regain control of your account

This call freaked me out. It was a woman's voice saying I had $46 that could be deducted from my next bill.  Obviously this is not a real Verizon call, still spooky though.  Don't fall for it!! They'll hack onto your account and change your password.

Total scam, confirmed this with Verizon.  Not a legit promotion from them, regardless of how much it looks like their site.  Do not enter your info.

received a call from this number at 243pm today saying I had a $46 refund coming from Verizon. I did not go to website. the number says it is a hospital (harden?? memorial hospital) number to schedule apptmts
