capitol management calling on cell phone telemarketing

No message, caller hung up when I answered. Call came on my land line.

I received three calls from 1-800-960-2187....The 3rd call I picked up the phone and got a recording of a woman saying that this is not a telephone marketing number.......This is an important business matter and to please call back the number...The caller identified themselves as Capital Management Company.  These calls come in with no identification on my caller ID.

No message left....calls several different time.  I do not answer these #-s if I do not know who is on the other line.

Get many calls from this  #. Other posters have IDed this as Capital Management. I also get calls from 877-219-0853 which has also been IDed as Capital Management. I never answer any of 'em.

I keep getting phone calls from this number, but they never leave a message.  Don't have time for telemarketers.  If it was important, they would leave a detailed message.  How can I block this?

Capital Management Services is a debt collection service.  They were looking for the deadbeat that held the cell phone number prior to it being assigned to me.  I know this person's name well, as he is being chased by several financial outfits.  The agent that I spoke with when I called them promised to take my number off their list.  This is an acceptable response if they follow through.

Why are you calling me and why don't you leave a message?

We've gotten at least 25 calls the past 2 wks. from caller id: 800 service, phone number 866/800-5475. They never pick up or leave a message. Finally, my husband called them back & the recording says: Pittsburgh Life - if you wish to be taken off our call list, then give us your 10 digit phone number. We think this is a scam! They already have our phone number or how did they call us!!
Has anyone else had this experience?
How do I block this number? I'm already on the Do Not Call Lists!

credit collecter -- for you OR family member they call  family to try to get info about the people there trying to collect from... the #8009602187

Hang-up when answered.

Recording - did not identify themselves, did not say who the message was for, did not give an option to talk to someone live, just left a phone number in very short message "Call 800-960-2187 for an important business matter" - did not repeat the message, no please, etc. I can't imagine that they get many calls back.

These guys keep calling my house number trying to reach my roommate, who has his own cellular phone and who is not listed at my number.  I think they want me to pass their debt collection information to him, but I will not be a party to this.  I refuse to be caught in the middle of these two, so there!

We get calls all the time.  They never leave a message and usually call at meal time. I'm on the Do Not Call Registry!!

Keep getting calls from 1-800-960-2187 for a debt collection that is not ours.  They were calling a few weeks ago and I spoke to someone and informed them that the person no longer lives here and I don't know how to get in touch with them. They said they would take my number off the list but I guess they didn't.  When I call them back they always hang up on me when I ask why they are calling.
