Another number I keep ignoring and they keep calling.

These jerks are starting to call my work. How can I stop this.

You need to ask them not to call you or call you during certain hours only. and you need to do it by sending them a registered mail letter. This article has some tips:

I had a missed call from 800-963-4194, so I called this number back to see who it was and what they wanted.  When I did talk to someone, they wanted my phone number before they would tell me who they are.  I told her that I would give her my number after she told me who was calling me.  She would not tell me who they were, so I did not give her my number and she was a real JERK and said that is ok we will be getting a hold of you.   I can not tell you how mad I was.  I looked this number up online and I believe it is a collection agency.  I am not sure why they are calling me and if they do have a reason that is fine but they should not be allowed to do what they just did and believe me, if they do call me back they will get treated the same way they just treated me.

That's the exact same thing that happend to me except they called my grandparets who are elderly and ill and harrassed them.  They would not say who they are.

You are obviously a collection agency troll. Some of us have bills from horrible car wrecks that insurance companies don't have to pay out on for up to 4 years few to your own state policies favoring those crooked b*****ds so why don't you kiss our collective buts and go to hell where you belong you filthy blood sucking criminal.

My mom keeps getting these.  She's had her cell phone number for almost 10 years and she keeps getting collection calls for a Renee.  No matter how many times she tells these people that Renee must have had this number over 10 years ago and keeps giving it out when businesses and collection agencies want it, they won't listen to her and keep harassing her and I can't get her to change her phone number.  She told the police officer who is involved in her neighborhood watch and he told her to keep a whistle nearby and when they call she should blow it in the phone.  Well, my mom said she doesn't have a whistle...but she has an old air horn, so she uses that when they call.  She started this a couple months ago and now she hardly gets any calls anymore!!  I guess there's more than one way to skin a cat!!

I keep getting calls because they want someone named Roxanne who had this number before me. When I tell them this is no longer her number I'm called a liar and worse. I have blocked their number and they use a different one! Do ya got a smart [***] answer for this too [***]? Not everyone is a dead beat!

I am also getting automated calls from this unethical company.  They called me at 9:30PM Sunday.  I hang up.  I too have called them and get the same thing..."tell us your number" ... I am not going to do that ... nobody should ... what are they doing with that number? ... I went bankrupt over 17 years ago (yep cancer) ... after that time I have owed nobody any money ... had hospitals, doctors, radiologists, clinics been at all reasonable (over $250000 was the bill, my insurance company paid a little over $20000) they might have received some of their money ... I AM TELLING YOU DON'T EVER TALK TO THESE PEOPLE ... NEVER ... I moved to another town ... a new phone number ... and they found me again ... I work with computers, there is no reason why the telephone provider cannot allow you to provide you the ability to have certain numbers blocked on your phone. ... (They also call where I work) ... Why do we have to have a law for the implementation of blocked calls ... and why do those morons in Washington do nothing ... their "don't call" list excludes morons in Washington, and evidently bill collectors.  The letter referred to above will not stop them from calling and whether you say you owe the money or not, the "law" allows that company to decide whether you are lying or not! ... That electronic call costs that company nothing to make (kind of like bullies emailing people until the person (little girl?) commits suicide ... Ethical people identify themselves on the phone, state why they are calling.  

If this is a debt collector fine but, leave a message! Don't blindside people. Leave a message so people can at least have their ducks in a row when they call you back. A little information would be nice.

How do you know he iwes [***]. This isn't a forum to whine about ppl it's to help ppl. I just got a call to from these ppl and it WASNT ME and I had this # for 5 yrs so why don't you keep your mouth shut and worry about your bills and not others

I answered and its not as it seams it is a tax collector but for a different peraon. 90 percent of the time they call the wrong number because.. well face it. If your were behind on bills would u give them your real number knowing they will call you...
