Called the number back and it's "OSI Collection Services"

The people from 1-800-969-2175 claimed to be NCO Financial Services and they won't give any info unless they acquire the person's last 4 SSN digits.  I refused to give that info so they hang-up without any further explanations.  I think this may be an illegal way to extract sensitive information from the unsuspecting public.

Report them to the Federal Trade Commission at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en

By the way, the FTC has fined NCO nearly $1.5 million a few years back for other illegal tactics, so they are more than familiar with this scuzzy company.

Claimed to be NCO Financial calling me about a debt that was clearly not mine.  When I attempted to inform this "female" that it was not my debt and it must be a mistake, she became very rude and loud and refused to listen to me.  She was exceedingly rude to the point that it caused me to scream back and tell her that IT WAS NOT MY DEBT AND DO NOT EVER CALL ME AGAIN!  These people are nothing but thugs and they aren't smart enough to understand that the person on the other end of the phone might actually be trying to give them accurate information!
