Delaware County Memorial Hospital - Patient Billing

I got a call from this number as well, I missed it so they left a message.  Some lady named "Tina" asked for me by name, and said that I had to call her asap.  When I did an electronic voice told me that the call could be recorded and called itself "patient services".  I entered the extension given to me by Tina when prompted, and was directed to the mailbox for "self-pay".  There I left a peeved message including the reference number "Tina" gave me (they already have all that info anyway obviously.) asking what this is all about.  I had been in the hospital a few months ago, but all the internet searches I've pulled up say it's Central Patient Billing Inc Or, or... Qualink Or...  Someone else on this message board said the number was from Delaware County Memorial Hospital, and I was hospitalized there, at the Crozer Chester Medical Center...  My phone was unable to pull the caller ID like it normally can, instead calling it an unavailable number.  Any information I had to call them was from "Tina"...

Just got a call with a blocked caller Id. The message left on my answering machine was (last name and ref. number hidden to protect the hounded):

Good afternoon, this message is for Jessica ##########, my name is Valerie and I'm calling in regard to a personal business matter. Please return the phone call to 1-800-969-6708, extension 4191. When returning the call please refer to the reference number ###-#####. Thank you, have a good day.


We just changed our phone number, so I guess this is part of the baggage that came with the new number. Joy.

This is an automated call from the Crozer Keystone Health System.  I had a 1st trimester screen performed at Crozer Chester Medical Ctr in early November 2009 and before we left, my hubby paid the $20 copay.  I started getting bills for this same copay in December.  Called the billing office indicated on the bill on 12/17/09 and was told that the payment "may not have made it's way down yet, wait a week and call back." WTF?!  So it's now January 2010 and I'm still getting calls and bills; luckily this morning I found the consult on which the office clerk wrote "PAID."  She can reach into her pocket and give them that $20 because they won't get it out of me again!!!  Now I'm irritated all over again because I faxed the paperwork over this morning and they just called me again >:(.  I will NEVER go to another hospital in their system for ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!

They called and hung up when I answered and then they proceeded to call me back. I hit the a**hole button and they didn't leave a message. Hmmm...
