Chapter Law debt collection.  Address/suite number is for Axess Law in Toronto and tenant directory of the building lists Axess Law as the current occupant of that office space.  Extremely suspicious.

Chapter Law. Calling about a GE Loan. I have never in my life dealt with GE. They are trying to convince me to settle and accept an offer of half of what the debt is. They claim the last payment was in 2010. I looked up the firm and the location they are claiming to work from is for Axess Law not Chapter Law

Got a Call for an employee that left 8 years back. They look genuine.

They lie a lot.  one example is they pretend they have an ongoing lawsuit when they don't.  Just a debt collector. ignore them

Been bothering us for years - we don't owe anyone!!  I just tell them to put it in the mail and we never receive anything so.....scam.

Received a call from this number last week and again today. In the per-recorded message no mention is made of my name or a docket/file number for reference, let alone the name of the creditor. Just a threat of legal action. Unfortunately, yes I have outstanding debt, however most of it is statute barred, meaning no court action can be filed after 2 years (well, here in Ontario, Canada anyways). In any case a letter is usually sent first to inform the debtor that the firm has been retained by the creditor. Most first attempts are in writing, especially if legal action is pending. I'm thinking that this is from a "bottom feeder".

We got a call from this company, they did not address any individuals name. No one is our family owes anything.  Scam call

scam! do not give your real name, your information, or say anything that sounds like "yes". dont answer and block!

Prerecorded threatening call from a Chapter Law. No mention of name or anything pertinent to threat. No debts owed, so they must be scam or scum trying to collect off whoever had my phone number before me.

The is number called me and then it went into voicemail. The message was “This is Chapter Law Office, we have been (inaudible) to move forward about an outstanding claim that has been filed against you. You need to call Miss ____ at (number) to prevent further action from being taken against you.” They use big words to scare you.

Prerecorded message from chapter law professional corporation, asking me to contact them on a pending court action pending with their law firm.  Didn't address me by name or give me any information on the "pending court action".  Deleted and blocked.

Keep emailing me about a credit card payment that I need to make and all sorts of other things. That worker that I called and spoke with don't even sound professional.

They are liars,   I have a debt from 2012.   They are contacting me now about it, and the statue of limitations is long past - they are trying to tell me its from a credit card I opened in 2012 but truth is I closed it in 2012.  they lie attempting to fool people if they know about the statue of 2 years!  they are horrible  and if they were really a law firm would they really be wasting time being a collector of debt, wouldn't they be making big money doing realestate etc?

Pre-recorded message from Chapter Law corporation claiming that I have court litigation  asking to call them back.
They are liars. If I would have court litigation then Plaintiff should deliver me Notice of Claim and give me 14 days for reply.
I call them back and talk to representative and find out that they call wrong person. I am not the person appears on their file.

Yes they are doing the same to me. When I asked for details and dates they could not give me any information that just makes it more suspicious and more toward a scam.

This number called saying I had to due my due diligence for an outstanding debt. When I told them I have no idea on what they are talking about and asked for dates and so forth. They could not reply or answer my questions. So I made it clear that I didn’t want them calling this number again and leaving harassing messages. The gentleman hung up before I could get it out. So I called back stated my name and number and stated I didn’t want anymore harassing phone calls. Then I hung up. If they can’t give me information then why are they calling leaving message to call them back but the have nothing else but yet state that they are proceeding with court. Ok proceeding with court but yet have no information. Wow

I said Ive not been with Telus.
They said they were a law firm
I’m from BC , I asked from what date ?
8 years ago they said!

I said even if I did have an old account from 8 years ago paid or not paid it would have been wiped off my credit

They said I was being taken to court and hung up on!

I received a letter from same.
I called them

Again I stated no dice.
Told person send the date, contract etc with Telus

They stated I was being taken to court to force me into bankruptcy for $3000 to Telus

I laughed said I’m on Welfare!

No reply hung up on

Called back had a rude woman yell at me and said
She wouldn’t be spoke to this way ! Lol
