  There has been a lawsuit launched in my name and if I do not call this caller back there will be an arrest warrant issued for me and I will be arrested. The message was left om my answering machine

I tôt the same message on my voici mail.  Canadien government would most probably issue a letter so this look like scam....

So what happened? Anything come of it?

Live person trying to pull a scam ... He said he was calling from CRA and that I was being audited by them and owed money.  (Considering that I have actually just been reviewed and they discovered they owed ME money, there was no question this was a scam)  So, I just laughed when he suggested that the RCMP have a warrant out for my arrest.  I suggested that they know exactly where I am so they should have arrested me already.  I went on to say that this scam they're trying to pull is now so widely reported that they have a lot of gall trying to continue doing it!

Canada Revenue wanting to speak to me. Said his name was officer Jack Smith Badge # CRA 3316 (with an east indian accent and a very scratchy telephone line) I tried calling the number back but nothing there. This world would be a much better place without hacks like that. Go make an honest living!  :-(
