800-978-4586

My caller ID only shows “ Out of area” and does not display a number.  My caller ID shows they called on Dec. 19, 29 and 20 and three times on Jan 7. I was not home to answer any of these calls but my answering system recorded a message from them on Jan 7; the message was: “ ………percent ah and help get ya out of debt in less than five years while rebuilding your credit. Ah you know it’s time to take control of those finances. Give me ring today. Ah my number here is 1-800-978-4586 ah again its Tony Wells and my number is 1-800-978-4586.”
I called the 800 number on Jan 8 (Thursday) at 8:30 pm but it just rang, no answer. I will try calling again tomorrow during the day.

Called Jan 9 (Friday) at 10:00 am and Eva picked up and wanted to know if I had more than $2000 of credit card dept and if I was paying more than 12% interest on it. I asked what the name of her company was and she said Debt Relief. I asked where they were located and she said all over the country. She asked again how much dept I had and I said there is something she could do for me and asked if she could guess what that was and she said hum remove your number? And I said yes. She asked for my number and hung up as soon as I finished giving it to her.  

ps, I also do not have any credit card dept.

I had the same call and message on my voice mail indicating he could get me out of credit card debt in 5 years and rebuilding my credit and Ah my name is Tony Wells and my number is 1-800-978-4586.  When I first heard his voice I knew it was a scam he sound to hip hop and trying to sound professional but it came out to jazzy for me.

Received a call from these scammers as well. "Hi, this is Tony Wells." Reminded me of a "Don Lapre" commercial. He can magically lower credit card rates by nearly 20%. Just call him back at 1-800-978-4586 to get started. Yeaaahh.......

Unless you would like your identity stolen, DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE!!!

Got a call on my cell, the number was 636-583-2503. They left a voicemail about cutting my credit cards payments in half and acted like I had already talked to them. The gal said her name was Kelly and to call her back at 1-800-978-4586. Scam I'm sure.

I received a message to call back 800-978-4586 BUT the call came from 636-583-2503 according to caller ID.  The whole thing is a SCAM!! JUST DON'T CALL BACK!!!!

Got a call on my cell, the number was 636-583-2503. They left a voicemail but it was cut off the girl also told me to call her back her name was also Kelly and to call her back at 1-800-978-4586. Scam I'm sure.

I received the same message; good to know that this is a scam; thank you!

Got a call from someone named Kelly from 816-763-3235 and it went to voice mail.  She said she works with a non-profit group that can help lower interest rates (i think for credit cards).  She left this call back number (800-978-4586) but I didn't call back.

Got this call (816.763.3235) around at 259pm. Someone named Kelly left another number (800.978.4586) Saying she works for debt relief. Scam. The (816) number is based out in Kansas City MO.

Also got a cut-off call from Kelly...by the time the mssg started, she didn't mention a company, just that she could "probably cut that amount in half", and to call her at 800/978-4586 and ask for Kelly. Call also came from alternate # - 816/763-3235.

Same thing ...said name was Kelly...cutoff pre-amble. I called back from a blocked # and someone answered "DEBT RELIEF...can I help you."
I have no CC debt but have slipped with my mortgage paymnet 2 mo's - not sure if that's it. Sounds weird. I have ZERO CC debt.

Hi, I received the same message on Oct. 27, 2009 at 2:56 PM. The caller's name was Kelly. She said she worked for a non-profit group. Left the phone number 1-800-978-4586 --- But the called ID picked up 1-816-763-3235. It seems like a scam from what others have been saying, especially because I do not have pressing debt. So, for anyone who receives this message please do not answer or reply to it.

I also received a call from Kelly with a cut-off message that asked me to call her about lowering my interest rates. She asked me to call her back at 800-978-4586 and the number she called from was 314.416.7303. I have no credit card debt or credit cards so I will not be returning her call, obviously a scam.

I got the cut off call from "kelly" as well. Total scam. My caller ID also picked up a different number than the one she left, 314-416-7303.

Just a got a missed call and voice mail message from 573-581-7845. Recording of a woman talking as if we had spoken before. "Hey, this is Kelly again...." Promised to reduce my credit card minimum payments, interest rate, etc. Said to call 800-978-4586 and ask for her. Even if I had credit card debt, "Kelly" can get stuffed.

Just recieved the same call. But they actually called my office number.

These companies should be banned for making any out going calls.

I just got the same call. I have credit cards but all of them have no balance and I was wondering if anyone else had got this call. I guess so.

THIS IS A SCAM! Just got a call from 573-581-7845, and since I didn't recognize I didn't answer and they left a voicemail.  The person said her company was just about to increase my minimum payment and interest rate on my credit card, but that her department was working with a non-profit agency to keep this from happening. Well, I haven't had a credit card since 1996 and have been completely debt-free for 5 years, so there is NO WAY to increase my interest rate! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Anyway, in her message sge said to call her at: 1 800 978 4586 (her name is Kelly) Now when I looked up the 573 number I saw several posts about either a voicemail like mine or a guy hanging up after saying hi. I think they were trying to verify numbers that work.
Well, I invite you guys to call Kelly and say hi. Not anything else, mind you---just "hi" and hang up like her partner does.

Voicemail from Kelly to call her back, wants to reduce my interest rates and lower my payments. To bad the number she called from 1-573-581-7845 is disconnected but called the 1-800-978-4586 just to say HI and that I am not interested and hung up. Called them back a few more times just to be a nice returning customer. Got to love scams.
