Called asking for the owner by name. When I told him that the owner wasn't available, he asked for the person in charge of equipment financing. I told him that we weren't currently interested in that, and he rudely asked me to still speak with them,

Received four back-to-back calls from this number, all rolled to VM without leaving a message. Just preceding this call were two other calls from a 'blocked' number. Persistent! In reference to the notes above, I receive such calls often. When they ask for the owner by name, I've started telling them he isn't available, but I screen calls for the owner, so how can I help them? That usually gives them pause. If they repeat that they want the owner or someone else, I repeat that I'm the call screener and they must talk to me. Settles things with the pushy type right up front.
