A Voice Message about some Federal Program claiming that you should hold off on paying back taxes.

yah,  same here...  Scam? ...  # shows a real-estate company via google

I got the same recorded voice message.  The caller ID on the incoming call appears to have been spoofed.  I'm on the DNC registry.  Legitimate businesses want your business while scammers don't want anyone to know how to contact them.

This robocall kept calling me numerous of times. I’ve called back three times within a week. A person picked up & when I’ve asked him for his name & address he hung up. The second time I’ve called an answering voicemail said to press 1 to leave a message. It clicked & a dial tone came on. They’re stupid scammers. Any human being should not fall for these scams. Anytime taxes are problems deal w/ a CPA. Those scammers even had my name & address.

Im on DNC list. Tax nonrepayable scammer robocall "Linda here". Called From (516) 886-0720 Female British voice recording (bcuz That sounds more official?!) Botta(?) tax doesn't recognize number that THEY called. 12:57pm PST 5/14/24

May 23, 2024, I too recieved a voice mail from this number stating the same thing.

Obvious tax scam. From Wetumka, OK.

I have a lot of spoofed numbers blocked and they are calling from those numbers so they go straight to voice mail. I get at least a phone call a week from them. I call them back and they have cussed me out and when I ask for a supervisor, they hang up. I had free time today so I kept calling them back and they finally blocked me. One guy I talked to today said I'm not on the NDNCL and he said I pulled up your info now and you're not. I've been on the list since 2017.

"Linda here, tax 1222 when you get this message please call me back at 1800-9851174 this call was to let you know that all past due tax debt has been placed in a non-collectable status meaning you will not have to pay back your past due taxes this is part of a new federal economic recovery program you've probably heard about on the news so before you file or start making arrangements to pay your tax debt give us a call again my number is 1800-9851174 thanks for your time and talk to you soon"

Sure.  Some random company is going to have my tax info (but I don't owe any taxes) and offer to make settlements for me...  RIGHT.

"John" left message re unspecified "back taxes" that don't have to be paid.  A Federal program has put (?) my debt in an "unspecified" account and the caller can help with this problem.  Number called from was 800-985-1174.  Answered as "Tax Group" or "Tax Resolution Group".  "John" wanted to know how much I owed?  Wouldn't answer any questions, I asked about the group's incorporation.  No response, I hung up.  DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL!!

I requested at least 10 times for my number to be removed but they keep calling!!

I still keep getting calls from this number. It is a scam. I even have my number on the DNC list. They never work.  I’ve called back several times this week. I’ve asked them them why they keep calling. They hang up. I’ve kept calling & asking for their address & they hang up again. It’s a stupid scam. It’ll never stop. I get scam calls everyday. I have this number & other numbers written down. On Google it’s listed as tax scams. Also whenever I ask them who they’re looking for they hang up. When I ask to speak to a manager they hang up.
