- KathyPerson posing as Kohl's rep requesting personal info like last 4 of social.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- MargeI got an email to call this number because there was activity on my Kohl's card. I got the email right as I was browsing the app. I called because I did not buy anything. It went straight to a person, which is strange because it always has a options menu. He asked for my card number, I wouldn't give it, so he asked for my DOB and last four of social, which are the exact things needed to verify your account online. I just hung up. I looked at my account and there was no activity at all, so I changes my password and unlinked my card to the app.
- Caller: "Kohl's"
- LauraI received an email stating that my Kohl's charge card ending in 8816 had been added to Kohl's Pay so I can pay in store using the Kohl's app. If I did not add the card, please call this number immediately. My Kohl's card does not even end in those 4 numbers, but I researched anyways to determine if this was some sort of phishing scam, and I see from other's experiences, it definitely is.

- Sheri replies to VikiGot the same Email while on the Kohl's app. Did not call the number. Starting checking and found this was happening to other people. Also changed my pass word.
- Kathiei got the same email right after browsing the Kohl's app. Decided to Google the phone number before calling back. Thanks for the warning!

- LoriI too got the same Email. My card also did not end in the last 3 numbers, as indicated in the email. Did not call the number, but goggled it and found this site. Thanks for posting!!

- JoanSame situation as others have noted: received email while browsing the app. I did call the number. Indian speaking gentleman answered. He stated that the app updates and automatically adds your Kohl's credit card to Kohl's pay. He offered to 'help to remove the card from Kohl'sPay' but he never asked specifically for my information. The email is VERY close to a Kohl's email though there are minute discrepancies one doesn't pick up on immediately. All customer service numbers that I could find were all very similar but not even close to the number that was in the email. The email is not to be trusted. Change your password on Kolh's!

- B-Edwards replies to David BrooksPost after post says different, and the Kohl's Customer Service number is consistently given on the web as 855-564-5748. So either you are confused or a shill. I think your post is misleading at best and it will be reported for removal.
To Future Readers: If you get a call from this number, be very careful what info you offer or confirm. Then call Kohl's on the number found on your card or statement to verify that Kohl's has been trying to reach you. - BigA replies to David BrooksNow see, we know that you are lying. Kohl's does not have anything to do with the credit card or issuing the credit card. Capital One, N.A. issues the card. So, why are you here? Obviously if what you posted was the truth (which it isn't and I just proved it) then there was no reason to look the phone number up. This thread has been dormant for 4 years as well so it looks like you are one of the scummy, stinky, filthy, criminals who are going to start using this number to scam people out of money again.
- VirginiaI received a call and then an email with a code for me to enter because I had fraudulent charges. I would not verify the code but then they did verify a charge I had on that card in October of 2023 as "my last charge". However, they could not see a charge I had in May apparently. I hung up on them and called the Kohl's number on my card and I had no fraud alert showing. While I was on the phone with them, I got an email saying that my card had been linked to Kohl's pay in the Kohl's App and it had this number on it. The real Kohl's has froze my card and are sending me a new one...
