This number was listed on google as a customer support line. They are foreign scammers trying to scare you into thinking that you have been hacked.

I called this number to find out if a call that I had received was sincere.  Once on line, the person John on the phone asked me if I minded if he looked at my computer to determine the problem.  Not thinking, I said yes. We had an online chat and he proceeded to put me through to Victor, the "tech engineer".  He told me I had several issues with my computer and it would cost $299 to fix the problem.  I told him I did not have any money and immediately all of my files and icons on the desktop disappeared.  I can not get any of them back.  I have been on the phone for over 5 hours trying to get help.  By the way, this phone number also disappeared from the internet as soon as I called back and said I was reporting to FBI.

I was looking for zuliy phone number and actually just called..the guy almost got access to my computer but I didn't feel comfortable and hung up. He managed to get an email and dob though...reporting to the proper authority now.

You just had your computer hacked, and it's now being held hostage, but you probably know this by now. If they call you back and offer to "fix" it, DO NOT AGREE to anything and hang up.

You will probably have to have a professional technician clean it for you, but in the meantime given that they might have copies of all your files and such, you might also have to contact your bank and any lending companies, credit card issuers, etc., mortgage bank, to alert them to the possible theft of your identity.

That all depends on what kind of information you store on your computer, but given that your passwords to banks and such might also have been in the stolen mix, you should batten down the hatches against a possible ID theft scenario.

I called and as soon as he started showing me a bunch of stuff I turned it off and cancelled his call hoping he doesn't get into it more.
