these people are crooks and never will deal with them again they offered me a low intrest rate and it was high every time I used card. they gave me limit of 300 and now say I went over limit it was like BS I made sure i had a certian amount left to cover charges and now they say I owed over 800 some what They finelly quit calling me whe they got a letterfrom my worker i had no $ available so now i go Prepaid visa or MC I love them better.

Yes, must be capital one. they called with Private Number so I told them I do not confirm with anyone my private information to a Private Number, they keep calling but this time they called right back with this number. Before I had time to pull this page up to confirm it was them again, the call ended so I could not talk to them. Least they bothered to show me what number they were calling from this time. Yes, I do owe them money so that is why they call.

No message. Just want them to stop harrasing me.

nearly every day this week they have called. The first 2 days was for my stepdad's name, the days after was for his sister's name (whom doesnt even live with us). I wish when company "representative"s call its only dealt with one of their "representatives" so they are not CONSTANTLY HARASSING you with different "reps" after you tell them wrong number. And now as of yesterday a Private Number is calling too along with this 800 number - which I am now guessing is also them, like MoFo had posted.

Yes Capital One calling on this & Private Number up to 10 times a day. Suffered a severe illness but fully planned to pay off anything I'd fallen behind on by selling my home as part of cleaning up my affairs until I got this type a harassment so now they can go to Hell. I've transferred my home to a family member & left a sizable life insurance policy with the instructions not to give them a dime ! lol At least I know they'll cry at my funeral

They call too early when you owe them money to harass you. It would seem they train their people on the poor people. When you apply for a credit card for the first time ever, you look poor. I only wanted it to buy on the Internet so I will go prepaid as well. And Capital One will not get 79 dollars for two months of trying to cheat me. They will stop phoning us when I send them this page.

This is capital one phone number.  they will call you numerous times over a few dollars.  anyone out there with one of there credit cards, pay it off, cut it up and get rid of the harrasement phone calls. have recieved over 10 calls in one day from a call centre thats hired by the company.  how gutless, that the company reps cant pick up a phone and do it themselves.  take my advice who ever reads this and get rid of them.

I get a call from them 5 times a day, been going on for a while now.  Someone with the same name must have pulled out a loan and not paid it.  I've checked my credit and it's fine, there's nothing odd and no new Capital One loan.  They won't even talk to me, just ask me for my address and birthday (obviously not given that my only Capital One MC is in perfect standing and my credit does not even show them inquiring on me so there's no new one in my name out there.

I have no idea how to make them stop.  I've begged, I've yelled, I've been polite and I've reamed them out.  It's insane.

They do not stop calling me, even after I have made payment arrangements. And made a payment larger then what I needed too. I left them a nasty message asking them to stop calling.

These guys are absolute dicks. They call us about 7-10 times per day starting at 7:30am. It's almost a
Perfect cycle every day at the same(ish) time.

This is some debt collector for Capital One. They call me when I'm overdue on a fully secured card. Are you kidding me??? They have to call at least 3-4 X a day usually from private number. This first time I told them under no circumstance would I deal with anyone calling from a private or spoofed number (another one of their tricks). I used to answer and just immediately hang up, now I answer and leave the line open until they hang up! I figured I would waste THEIR time like they waste mine and they cannot even leave a message! From the few messages they have left, it has pissed them off royally.

Thank you for all the info.  I have never had a problem with them till now and have had my cards for 2 years.  Now 2 of them are a payment and a half behind which totals 120.00 and they call none stop!  It's rediculous!

 I have paid them religioulsy for 2 years and now I am having a hard time, but still manage to give them something and they still call none stop!  I am a month and a half behind with 2 cards and that is all!  It's a little rediculous.  As soon as they are pd off, AGAIN, they will be GONE!

if you owe for something and they see that you have a capital one card on your credit file i'm guess they transfer you here to get your information. its a good trick i must say. basically if you get transferred to a different number than the number which you called. called try giving them the wrong information and see if they say its validated.

I have also told them that I don't answer personal questions about myself over the phone.  They ask for me, and I answer "speaking" and then they want me to confirm who I am?  And they are calling from a private number!!  They give me the month and year of my birthday and ask for the day to confirm....I tell them that information is on Facebook so it means nothing!!  Last time I gave them a fake birthday and they didn't know what to do...lol.  Never, never answer anything about yourself over the phone.

to get them to stop answer the call tell them that they have the wrong number.. refuse to give any of your personal information.. and tell them you have no idea who they are calling for as you just got your number a few months ago.. I actually had to do this as i got a recycled number and i guess a person had used my number at some point to get a card.. when they say they can not remove you from the calling list inform them that all call from here on in will be traced and that they can be charged with harassment.. amazingly enough the calls stopped after they were told they would be charged as well as the company .. good luck :)

Ok here is the scoop for all to read see and remember with CAPITAL ONE.  God forbid you get behind in payment call them directly to let them know you made payment and give them all the information how much when where yadda yadda. It only takes not even an hour and they call back from this number 800-989-0992 saying they haven't received payment and we would like to talk to the holder.  If you aren't on account they won't tell you NOTHING but if they are they tell you about not yet receiving payment, so you go through the whole speel again about calling them directly and telling them what you did.  Then they go ok sorry to bother you it will be generated in system not to call again and you might only get 1 more call.  LIARS you get more then 1 more call saying the same speel again and then get this its so funny.  You call Capital One directly to complain and they give the speech so sorry to bother you shouldn't happen again please accept our apologizes.  Go to our webpage and give us your feedback on this so we can look into the matter further.  They don't read it don't waste time cause they will still call you.
