Wish they would just identify themselves instead of listing as UNAVAILABLE.

Got this call this evening. Caller ID said 800 Service. Stop & Shop about a recall for a smoothy.
Bought a smoothy a few days ago. I would like to know how this 'caller' got my phone number and this item. I find this very scary.

I got a call which I declined. I never even went to a Stop n Shop!

Oh my - a voicemail was left stating it was from the Giant/Martins grocery stores recalling Lean Cuisine & DiGiorno products as possibly containing glass. All seemed to be products with spinach. YIKES!

It's not necessarily from Stop & Shop.  It's about a recall of DiGiorno pizza and Lean Cuisine, or Stouffers; anything with spinach in it.  It could be from a store where you purchased these.  OR, Wonderful brand pistachios recall.

Giant Food with a recall on Gold Medal Flour

I also got a message from Giant food about recall of Gold Medal flour products. If you are in their frequent shopper program, with your phone number listed, apparently they can pull data from the system and place calls to purchasers of recalled products. I appreciated the heads-up since I had not associated Wondra flour with this recall. They told us to throw the product away and bring the receipt to the store for a refund.

Good to know. Telemarketing that's actually does a service. I've been receiving calls all this week regarding various products on Giants Food shelves that are being recalled.
