- toodleooI have the same issue after I 'upgraded' my phone to a droid charge a few weeks ago but they are just texting me. I tried sending 1 text w/ 'stop' but it didn't work (it also doesn't even show up on my text log). I just blocked the # on verizon's website.

- kwfromcaI am getting this same text. If you block it online it will charge you $4.99 a month. If you call Verizon tell them this is called "premium message" and ask them to block all premium messages. There is no fee for this. Do not reply back as it said it may charge you. You need to check you bill when it comes in to make sure you are not charged for any of this. If it is you have proof of calling Verizon about this problem. Ask the to set a follow up to review your bill after the billing date to make sure it is not on the bill.

- william83Log on to My Verizonwireless. Click on Block Calls & Messages. Select Internet Spam Blocking, and check the boxes for "Block all text messages sent from the web" and "Block all text messages sent from email" then hit Apply. Finally, retart your phone. Hope it'll help!
- JohnThis is obviously minor-league blackmail, but effective all the same.
It's stealing a little bit from a lot of people. The FTC should be interested in this, as should your wireless carrier.
After all, if you text 5 million people who respond, at 20 cents each, that's a million dollars.- Caller: Verizon

- FrannieAfter this company continued texting after I texted a "stop", I called Verizon. The rep said this is not a premium number; cell carriers now block premium callers who abuse the service, so the bad guys have figured out a way to continue stealing from us by using an overseas number. He was frustrated by this because his system will only let him block 11-digit numbers and these come from a 11- or 011- number, so he passed me onto tech support (level 2) who did block it for me. I'd really like the URL behind the link in the text to use in filing a complaint federally, but I won't click on it and because of privacy, Verizon reps can't read more than the number or caller name. Tech support said to post it here that you can call tech support directly for help in blocking calls from the company OZMAIL who is known to Verizon to contract with all sorts of low-life companies to send out texts for them. There was no charge for this. Good luck everyone!

- NicoleThis is not from a phone. It is not from a company. It is only happening to people on Verizon because it is a glitch between their system and your account. You need to call Verizon and tell them that you saw this on a website and would like to be transferred to a Level 2 technician. The first tier have no idea what OZMAIL is. Level 2 has been trained differently. I told him I had responded "stop" to the texts and it did not work. He had to go into their system and clear something from their system.
There is no charge for this text unless you are not on an unlimited plan. If you pay attention to when you get the OZMAIL text, go check your email that you have set up on your Droid phone and there will be a new message there, but no new message indicator. THAT is what OZMAIL is...- Caller: OZMAIL
