    They called and left a message about confirming a payment using my first name.  I called back because I had no idea what this was.  They asked for my name and social security #, but I refused to give them my SSN and figured this was some scam.  The person acted innocent and said they were probably calling me because I was a reference for an auto loan.  So they don't have their stories straight but they want my social security #....
