Link Debt Recovery - a collection agency. A polite lady told me we owed money for a medical bill from 11-9-2017, but I was sure I had paid that one. I looked in my records and found that payment on my bank statement and called her back to let her know. She said she would check on it and we hung up again. I didn't want this to be a long-term back-and-forth phone call thing, so I called the actual medical place. They confirmed we were paid up, got the name and number for the debt collector, and said they would check into it. I got a phone call back from them in about 20 minutes saying they took care of the misunderstanding and we were good with no money owed.

Don't be surprised if they call again. Scammers are persistent little buggers.
