Called it back said EOS CC? Maybe an old medical bill? Bill collector? Not sure. They have called off and on for 2 months. Blocked

Called several times a day.  I usually don't answer calls from numbers with no I.D. or numbers I don't recognize, but I was bored so I finally answered it. When i answered I got a computer that asked for me by name. I pressed 1 to affirm that I was who they asked about. A person with a thick Indian accent asked me who I was. I declined to say, and asked him what company he represents and why is he calling. He said his company was EOSCCA an insisted I identify myself. I told him I would not identify myself until I knew the purpose of the called. He said it was personal and confidential. So, basically a debt collector. I told him I don't owe anyone any money and that if there was a valid claim he could send me a letter in the mail and hung up.

Checking the 'net, there are plenty of complaints about this company along with the obligatory, propaganda from the company itself. I checked my credit report and have no accounts in collection. Either they are confusing me with someone else, or they are trying to collect an invalid debt.

There is one final possibility. As the caller never identified that he was a debt collector, I refused to confirm my identity to him. He might not have been looking to collect a debt from me, but from one of my friends or family members.

I've blocked their number.

Scam. Asks for your social security number without giving you any information. Called several times, didn't speak. So when I finally called them back was when they were inquiring about my personal details which I refused to provide. Also called from a fake number several times.

Legit just got a call from them while I was at work. When I answered on the second ring I was met with nothing but silence. Only answered bc i recognized the area code.

This number called me on 7/19/17 around 11am MST. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail. From the other comments posted my guess of it being a spam call is correct.

Keeps calling my work phone.  I don't answer and they don't leave messages.

I keep getting calls from this company, it is a legit company, but will not remove my number from their records as the person they are looking for is NOT me! I have half a mind to go up to their office and throw a bag of [***] against their employee entrance door.

Or you could handle it like an adult the proper way and send them a certified, return receipt not me letter. Of course you can handle it your way and if caught get arrested and live the  rest of your life with a Criminal conviction on your record. Your choice, hope you make the right one!
