    So I live in VA and getting calls from  Utah  an OB/GYN . Leaving no message but Caller ID list the number as Lone Peak OB/GYN.
    The scammers have nothing better to do. The DO NOT CALL list is a joke....So Ive created one for my home...Its called the DO NOT ANSWER CALL IF YOUR NOT ON MY LIST...seems to be working wonderful...

    Got a call from this number. They said it was "the US government" calling about me winning grant money and asking me how much money I need and what I need it for and wanted my address. Doesn't feel right.

    Called saying they where the government. Giving grants. Kmfsl they asked me for a shipping and processing fee. I gave them a $3.95 shipping fee using my card numbers

    They call me atleast 3 times a day for 8 am to 9 pm.  Every time I say they have the wrong number or to remove me from the calling list but no luck.  One time I was told to "shut the hell up" when I told them to stop calling me.

    Robo-dialed. Answered when I said hello. Caller asked to speak to my wife (by name). I asked who he was but his English was so bad I couldn't make out what he said. Much boiler room noise in the background I asked again, then got bored and hung up. Likely an overseas scam judging by the background voices.

    It's the grant scam but you're right; they're annoying and a pain in the butt.  Unfortunately, they also manage to scam millions out of naive, unsuspecting people.  This scam, like so many others, originates overseas so no US agency has the power to stop them.  Do yourself a favor and get a call blocker or download a call blocking app for your cell.  Let's put them out of business.
