I waited a bit and called back some one answered and could not speak english well saying some kind of company I have not heard of I am sure it is a fraud or some sort of weird collection caller. I will be reporting if I continue to get calls from this number.

The caller asked for my credit card number to charge $3.10 application fees. I asked the caller, let me Google his company information, he hung up the phone and I tried so many times to call back, NO ANSWER and NO VOICE MAIL.

- Larco replies to Olos soloI have received about 30 calls from this number. The one time I spoke to the caller his accent gave me several clues to his location.
- The call originated from outside the USA.
- The call appears to come through Skype.
- The accent was Indian and the caller was male, attended English speaking, British-style schools in India, and has not spent any significant time outside of India.
They offered me a grant, but asked me how much money I wanted. The is a form of the old "pigeon drop" scam where they get their money from the money that is "fronted". In this case they get the money by credit card transaction with them making the case that you believe their false premise of actually receiving a grant.
Such grants do not exist and do not come from outside the USA. Get real and apply some common sense to their premises.
I told the caller that he has called me too many times to count and that his organization is a complete fraud and they need to stop calling me. They stopped for a few days, but the calls have resumed again this morning. They hang up and move on to the next sucker or victim. They use an auto-dailer that waits for an actual connection to put you in a queue for an "operator" who is the sales person for their fraud.
The best thing to do is not answer the call and eventually we can hope they stop calling the number.
