Call came from Salt Lake, Utah to Kansas @ 17:43 on 5-15-09. Call not answered and no message left. This is one of the many phone numbers in the banks of numbers for the Leukemia Society all over the country. I must have two dozen on my number-blocker.

This is the Luekemia Society, who I have lost ALOT of respect for.  They force you to take your number off of one list, then simply call you from other numbers they own.

9:12 AM! This time from yet another "Leukemia Society" number with a completely different A/C -- the last one was from 770, I think. This is the thanks we get for supporting them in the past -- unsolicited phone calls hitting us up for more $ whether we say yes or no.

Sorry, Team in Training, but if our reward for supporting you is endless unsolicited calls from your telemarketing arm, it's time for us to take you OFF the list of charitable orgs that we donate to.

I started tracking a week or so ago because I felt like I was getting a lot of calls from the Leukemia Society - They call 2-3 times (at least) per week, using different number and calling at different times of day.  I do not answer and will NEVER give a dime of my money to an organization that harasses like that -- how do I get this to stop???  We're on the 'do not call' list, but that does not apply to charities.

I just wrote them a hate letter.  Go here: http://www.leukemia.org/all_page?item_id=353528.  They don't require your phone # or home address. I gave them a phony name and a throw-away e-mail account.  You can also call them at (800) 955-4572, but block your outgoing # first.

I called them back and you have to listen to their incredibly long spiel about how they are "relentless in their pursuit"--I have recieved calls every day for the last 5 days--but you can get your number removed if you bother to hang on for the 3 minutes of your life that they waste with an infomercial.  They are trying to get you to do friends & neighbor campaign like Cancer Society and March of Dimes.  I dont get this approach, it sounds like it only makes me and all others on here HOSTILE to their cause.  Send me something in writing and I will determine if I want to give.  If you as a charity are really hard up, call the White House and complain because they are the ones eliminating deductions on charitable donations.  You can bet your boots I wont be giving much then. I predict an increasing volume of these annoying intrusions in the future!

this number keeps calling

First call from this number, glad it showed on the CID display, although the caller showed up as "unknown name".  Numerous calls from the Leukemia Society, from various displayed numbers:  435-294-1281, 702-553-0527, 775-319-1592.

Autodialer...have received four different calls from four different numbers all under the heading of Leukemia Society.  When I was finally able to answer, I immediately said to remove the number, and they supposedly did.  We shall see...

Number 801-618-2059 called this morning at 0855 and left no message, just hung up. I work nights and I hate this. I guess I will have to turn my phone off during the day now!


On another note:
"You can also call them at (800) 955-4572, but block your outgoing # first." Can you block calls to toll free numbers? I thought it was not possible.

Getting REALLY sick of this number, since they don't leave a message, they don't answer when picked up, and call from several different numbers.
There's "relentless" and there's harassment.  KNOCK IT OFF!!!!!!!

March 15    Why do they keep calling and hanging up???---hmmmm maybe they get paid for each call and they don't have to really talk to anyone and they are fooling the Leukemia Society==I am also getting the same kind of calls from Las Vegas area
