I got a call from this number today. The caller ID shows ASVA and 801 is a Utah area code. I found a market research company in Utah called ASVA, so probably is market research, although I didn't answer the call.

Received a call from this number today but didn't answer. My caller ID stated "CMC"

GOT A CALL OCTOBER 3,2009. PRESON SAID THE CALL WAS FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY RETURNING A CALL FROM A INQUIRE I MADE. I NEVER CALLED THE TREASURY DEPATMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE

This number has been calling since last Friday (10/9).  I am ignoring it and sending it to voice mail.  They are not leaving a message.  Caller ID does not show any name.  They are calling on my cell phone. 4 calls on Friday and 2 so far today (Monday 10/12)

For the past week and a half, maybe two weeks, I've been getting calls from this number about once every other day. Upon answering the first time, all I got was silence. There's also no message left by them. And the caller ID (on my Palm Pre) reads "unknown number".

I received two calls from this number today and they did not leave a voice mail either time.

I just got a call from this number, when I tried to call back their was no greeting and the mailbox was full.  More than likely telemarketers.

My girlfriend got a call from these people, looking for me, asking questions about something to do with pilot (flying) experience. She thought it odd, as I'm not a pilot!!

Called me this evening and said they were doing a survey on educational needs.  Told them to take me off their calling list and he politely said he would.

Called today. No voicemail....just some weird noises left on my ansering machine.

Rcvd call this morning - caller ID said ASVA.  I didn't pick up - heard a female voice say one or two syllables nothing understandable and then call was disconnected.  I am in Alaska.

They got hold of me and said they were conducting a survey for the FAA regarding my experience concerning flight service stations or something (I wasn't paying very close attention, I hate telephone surveyors but was curious enough about this one to see where it was gonna go).
I am a pilot, but hadn't flown in the past year due to a medical issue, so the survey was very short.

I got 3 calls from this number today. It was full of static and what sounded like a female voice made some incomprehensible sounds, but then the line went dead. When I called back all I got was that the mailbox was full and I was unable to leave a message. No ID showed up on my phone.

i rec'd a call 11/03/10 at 7pm caller id asva. i've been researching health insurance co. figuring it was one of them. didnt answer. no voice mail.

They have been calling at least once a week for over a year. I don't answer. They don't leave a message. Each time I report a do not call. They are thieves. The minutes used to report I pay for.

I got the same annoying calls form this number. I just ignore and click reject. On one of the calls, caller claim to be from UPS and that I have a package to claim. Caller ask and wanted to know name and owner of the address package was sent to..???? I got suspicious since I was not expecting any UPS package so I hang up.

Receved a call (a female voice) stating she was calling from the Dept of Labor and they would like to conduct "a short survey, that would take about 5 minutes".
Do not take these calls, as they are attempting to get information from you.
By what I read on here, they use different names. I also tried to call back that number & got a message that the mailbox is full.  BEWARE~!

Received a call from them on Saturday morning and again Monday evening after 8:18 est, asking for me by name. Said they were calling on behalf of the Labor Department to see how I felt about being denied Cobra premiuim reduction. Did not identify myself and when I asked if I can call back, they declined and wanted to know when they can call back.  I did not respond.  Who are these people?

Just received a phone call pertaining to my sisters cobra.  She said she was from the department of labor.  She would not speak with me eventhough I'm my sisters power of attorney!

ASVA called and hung up before I answered. I don't know who this is and I don't want to know. When someone hangs up that quickly, or doesn't leave a message on my answering machine, the only thing left is a SCAM. Those poor loosers.
