Pretending to be from Dell Tech Support.  Said that there was invisible software on my computer that reports viruses to Dell.  I told him that I didn't have that software, he kept saying it was invisible and that I wouldn't be able to see it.  When I asked him why Dell would be putting it on my computer when I don't own a Dell computer he hung up.

I get this call every once in a while (they had a number from SF the first time that I received the call).  I call Dell to let them know about this and they said that they had their customer data stolen (around 2 years ago).

I'll let my kids play around with them on occasion, it keeps them on the phone for a while and my kids love acting dumb on the phone with these scammers.  "What key is the escape key"?.  How do I do that.

Unfortunately I missed the call from this number. I always enjoy having fun with them. We started getting these calls in May 2015 right after we had my son's Dell laptop in for service. The caller is using stolen live data from Dell tech support. He had available correct name and address as well as the service code on the computer and previous service notes. I've found instances of this going back as far as 2011.
Play along with them right up to the point of handing over desktop control. That's when I tell them an error message has appeared. When the caller asks what it says I tell him it is from his father who is very upset at me for wiping myself on the curtains after having sex with his mother. Sit back and listen to the caller come unglued. One even called back to finish cursing at me. :)

I got a call from this # as well.  They are obviously lying about their credentials.  Can't something be done to shut them down?

Called saying they're "Windows technical support" total scam wanted me to get itunes gift cards to pay them to take a virus off my computer.

They constantly have been calling me for 2 weeks. We told them to stop and they still call. Today when I answered I told them this and demanded a supervisor, he laughed and said f--- you, over and over again, clearly they are scammers.

From 801-639-9061, multiple calls to my personal cell in the last two weeks.  I do not answer.

SCAM ALERT BEWARE:  CRIMINALS - Phony Dell Tech Support hacked - Received unsolicited call.   Criminals looking for gullible victims.  YET ANOTHER INDIA/PAKISTAN CALL CENTER CALL.  Old scam to get personal information and Credit Card info.  NOTE:  Hang up calls are a result of the operator being on the line with another person.  The auto dialer hangs up dials the next number until a operator is available.

LMAO
