Same here, this number calls all the time and never leaves a message, any idea what service or bill collector this is for?

Tells you their giving you a free trial version for Windows for free and asks for your address and you have to pay your shipping and handling.

They're trying to sell the Overnight Genius program.

Calls every few days, never leaves messages. When I do pick up someone just repeats hello after I do untill I get irratated and hang up.

Yes, that's how my call began as well.  

Also, they didn't speak English very well - difficult to understand.  He asked for me, I asked "who's calling?", and when he said Overnight Genius I replied, "I'm not interested in that program, please remove me from your list. Thank you."

If they continue to call, I'll report here again.

Once you inform a telemarketer to stop calling, they are supposed to stop. When they don't you can bring it to the courts. Justice will be served. All these scams are good for nothing like the ppl who act them out. Hope this helps you out ppl.

To these fools if you read this it's nice to know we can do our detective work also. I just may buy the report to take it to court with me when I file charges against these ppl. I don't wish to be contacted and they repeatedly do so 8 times a day. This madness must stop.

This number is calling me everyday, 4-5 times a day. I don't even answer anymore. The line is always dead on the other end.

This number has started calling me non stop, I never pick up the phone and the caller never leaves a message. I googled the number and came across numerous sites regarding peoples' complaints about this number. I decided that I would call the number back to try to put an end to the annoying calls. To my surprise a recording informed me that the number was no longer in service! I called again in case I reached the recording in error and got the same result. Does anyone know how to put a stop to it?

This is the work of http://www.overnightgenius.com/ and you can reach them at: 866.475.5733.  I tried to call but only got the typical computerized answer machine that said if I held on I would be connected to a rep.  It then transferred over to their answer machine which beeped and said my message would be delivered.
Maybe we could all deliver a message and overload their "inbox".  If you are on the National Do Not Call registry, you can file a report with them if you have been on the list over 30 days.  They collect the data and when they get enough complaints on the same company or number,they take them to court.
Just don't let them get you down or irritated.

That is not my real name because of fears for my families safety.  I had a different Cell Phone Number as long as years ago and this joker with this same number was calling me then.

Now I noticed that I'm starting to get calls from the same number again.  I answer and nobody speaks.  I the same with the rest of you checked the number and it is a disconnected number.

I do investigative work and I'll try to shed some light on this to help relax some of you.

As myself you people who have now and/or in the past have received calls from this moron. All from this same telephone number.  He never changes it.  It puts you in the mind of a psychotic person, a sick perhaps stalker, and definitely traits of a serial kind of personality as with serial killers.

OK,  I will tell you some of what I know.  Anyone, you, myself, him/her? can go online and by downloading some free software and do the same as this person is doing. I repeat anyone can get this software and hide his or her number with another number showing up on caller ID's.  If this person wanted to this person could program a working number to show up on your caller by doing this would throw all of us off.  They could program your friend or family's number throwing you off completely.  Blaming them and all the time it is a sick person screwing around.

I only hope this person keeps using the same number so we all will know when we get these calls it is only from this person.

I don't know about the rest of you but I give man y websites my telephone numbers and I'm sure this is how this person picks his targets.  I heard from some of you who have heard this person and him trying to speak, trying to sell or give you something. That relieves me knowing this because I didn't think he spoke.  I honestly had originally thought this was a cop or the feds trying to track down scammers.  I have been scammed and had messed my sales up online until I took care of my customers. relaxing them that I was scammed and not the scammer.

As I type this this joker has called my cell phone 6 times.  Well good luck, and hopefully this joker gets a life soon and start leaving us alone.

PLEASE EVERYONE CALL YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENTS AND TURN THIS JOKER IN.  IT IS THE ONLY WAY WE CAN GET HIM TO STOP.  THEY HAVE WAYS TO TRACE HIM, BUT THE COPS NEED ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAINING. Thanks for letting us know its Overnight Genius, It sounds like something I looked into a month or so ago, and gave my cell phone number too. I will report them tomorrow.

calls about 8 times a day and will not take me off of their call list each time I tell them to do so. Foreign accent

this jerk is calling my cell up to 8 times a day.

This # is calling my cell phone every few minutes.
I've reported it to the no call list as a complaint.
Hopefully something can be done.
Who the heck are these people and how did they get our phone numbers??
