Highly annoying. Anyone know any way to report these people. I google'd the number and several items for sale in the classifieds in different papers all over Utah also list this number to contact for everything from Xbox's to other household items. They must be using the calls into the number to add to their telemarketing list. This should be stopped. Anyone ever get even a remote company name from these folks?

Companies like this pisses me off and you cannot call them or whatever! If I lived in Utah, they will be history!!!

Next call I get I am going to tell them I am in real need of a home security system. I want to get as much real info as I can on this company. Then at least maybe I can report them.

I don't know who the caller is. If I let my machine get it, they hang up. If I answer it, they hang up. Nobody is there when I answer and they refuse to leave a message.

I have been getting calls from 801-801-8011 on my cell phone. I never answer and they never leave a
message. I get these calls at least once a day and have been for about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks now. Just
annoying. When you try to call back the number is "not a working number"???? How is that possible? The number works when they call me? Anyway, I am on and have been on the DNC registry but it does no good for some of these calls. They have figured out how to get around the registry. I guess I will just have to put up with these calls until they get tired of calling me.

I've gotten this same call 5 or 6 times in Georgia on my husband's cell phone.  When you tell them you already have a home security system, they hang up, which is not usual customer service.  My husband was in business for many years, and we know that this is not customary for trying to solicit business.  I believe it is a scam for someone to get your information and come into your home.  They need to be reported and I for one am going to.  If we all report "Tom", maybe they will bust him.

This number calls my cell. I don't recognize it, don't answer it and it appears to be a telemarketer. I don't owe anyone, I don't know anyone at this number, and I don't buy anything from anyone calling me on the phone. I am registered with Do Not Call. You are harrassing me and I am reporting this number to the BBB, FTC and FCC and whoever else I can get to.  Stop annoying me with these calls. 6/27/11

The number 801-801-8011 is a phantom number.  It's a smoke screen that many telemarketing and bill collection agencies use.  You will not see the actual number(s) they are calling from.  Many of these numbers are non working numbers, that they pay for to keep the local phone company or cellular providers from reassigning.  The best way to report them is to actually take the time out to listen to them and reply as though you are interested.  You may get more information out of them by doing so.  Then you can report them to BBB, FTC etc... The Do Not Call Registry will only work for actual working, listed numbers.  The call receivers (us) numbers are computer generated.  Over 70% of the time, they are not even a real office bldg leasing legitimate type company with a street address.   You can put a little fear into them after 3 minute plus conversation, by telling them, that the call was recorded by local authorities and will be traced.  This way they can remove your number in their calling programming system.  Both landline and cell numbers whether private or not will continue to get these calls.

I have received several calls on my cell phone from this number.  This afternoon I finally answered the call from "Tom" who wanted to "post a sign in my yard and install a free $850 wireless security system."  He refused to accept my response that I wasn't interested, so I hung up on him.

Got called this morning - no message...will have to clear block calling numbers and start over again with this as #1 on the hit parade...

now is everyone in this fourm from georgia, because i am and i have gotten the calls several times but never awnserd. i do belive its a scam

I have received this call several times. Last week twice was a wireless security, maybe the same? I hang up after hearing a guy selling. other calls i let ring and do not answer if i do  not know the number.

I got a call and Iam on the no call list.

I have been getting calls from this and several other unknown numbers for a few weeks now. My husband answered this one and was told they wanted to set up a free security system in our home. Similar stories are connected with the other numbers that have been calling. I want to know how to stop these people and why they decide to call in the first place. I have also been getting texts from 4 or 5 digit numbers wanting to lower IRS debt, all I need to do is call them with my information. I wonder if these are linked....

Just got a call.  Did not answer it.  I too, have do not call listing.  Why do we continue to get these unwanted calls.

I am on the National 'Do Not Call' Registry.......but continue to be harrassed by someone calling from 801-801-8011, sounds automated, and no matter what my response is, the solicitor moves to another question, after being told:  'No thanks, I already have a home security system, no thanks, do not call this number again.' The voice continues with questions. If you call the # back, it is a non-working number.
